Addressing the patterns that hold you back - so you can have the life and relationship you desire
The quality of our relationships shapes the quality of our lives.
I work with individuals and people in relationships to understand and explore the deeper patterns that shape how they connect, communicate, and respond to one another, helping them to develop more conscious and supportive ways of relating.
Helping Couples On The Brink of Separation
I help couples understand the pattern that is preventing them from having the relationship they desire and explore how each person’s individual behaviours affect their connection. I support them to break these loops and build practical skills to improve communication, rebuild intimacy, and strengthen trust, so their relationship can thrive beyond therapy.
Individual Psychotherapy
I also work with individuals who feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand and want to change. These patterns can show up in the ways you react, feel, or relate to others. Through psychotherapy, you can gain awareness of how these patterns affect your relationships, develop self-compassion, and create strategies for lasting change.
Relationship Therapy + Individual Psychotherapy
CLIENT APPRECIATION
Hi, my name is Biannka Brannigan and I am a couples therapist and psychotherapist
I’m passionate about helping couples and individuals understand the patterns that keep them stuck and develop the skills to create more authentic, fulfilling relationships. I hold a master’s degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy and a master’s in Community Development, which gives me both a deep therapeutic perspective and a systemic lens on how societal forces shape how we relate to ourselves and each other. I’m trained in the Relational Life Institute’s couples therapy method and bring insights from Interpersonal Neurobiology and the Inner Health Coalition Alumni into my work.
Based in Far North Queensland, I offer therapy both online and in person.
Therapeutic Philosophy
I believe individual & couples therapy is not only a path toward greater intimacy and connection with ourselves and others but, also a counter-cultural movement toward creating a more loving, kind and tolerant world.
Through learning relational skills, self-compassion and emotional attunement, we begin to shift how we experience ourselves and others. This ripple effect—of curiosity instead of fear, empathy instead of judgment—extends beyond our relationships into our communities and the world around us.
“Knowing yourself, knowing how you make contact with others is truly transformational and I can’t wait to support you along this journey.”
— Biannka Brannigan
